The Jewish Museum Curaçao museum is housed in two historic buildings and its contents span nearly four centuries of Jewish life on the island. Through artifacts, documents, photographs, and oral histories, they preserve and share the rich heritage of the oldest Jewish community in the Americas.​

Congregation Mikvé Israel-Emanuel
Est. 1651 Willemstad, Curaçao

​A small, close-knit Jewish community on the Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao, many of whose members are descendants of the original founders and can trace their Sephardic roots back to Spain and Portugal. Founded in 1651, it is the oldest living Jewish congregation in the Western Hemisphere.​

Beth Haim Cemeteries
Est. 1659 Bleinheim & Berg Altena, Curaçao

Beth Haim at Bleinheim (1659) and Berg Altena (1864) are among the most significant historic Jewish cemeteries in the Western Hemisphere. These sacred grounds hold remarkable sepulchral art and serve as a vital link to countless descendants across the Americas.​
